Direct physical therapy is a practice and payment model where patients pay the clinic directly instead of going through the traditional insurance system. Payments are set and paid either in full or monthly. We have less patients than a traditional outpatient physical therapy in-network clinic. Because of this, patients get increased access to their provider--longer visits, after-hours communication, and quick access to appointments (same day/next day).
No.
Yes, absolutely! In fact, most of our clients have insurance and we provide a superbill for you to submit to insurance if you would like to file for reimbursement. We do not recommend cancelling your insurance in order to see us.
We believe at EPT in preventative care and to take care of the body before an injury. The peace of mind knowing we are here for you when you need us is priceless. In the meantime, we will work on your preventative health and keeping you healthy and moving now and in the future. Direct physical therapy can help you avoid unnecessary injuries or avoidant behaviors of some of the things you love to do the most!
While we have never had issues running FSA/HSAs for the monthly fee, it is important to consult with your accountant or employer about this.
Yes, although these are more expensive than our regular rates. We do encourage for you to do some of your appointments at the clinic to have full access to what we can provide.
Yes, although we prefer in-person visits, Telehealth appointments are available and very useful while the client is traveling.
